Product:
The package I received includes 12 bags of crystal soil, a total of 10 separate colors plus 2 bags of mixed colors. I weighed each bag separately and they do indeed come in 7-8 grams per bag (some closer to 9 grams). The package also comes with printed instructions.

Quality:
At first these beads seemed identical to other beads I have purchased in the past, but once hydrated I noticed that these are actually more 'bouncy', and that made it easier to shift my plants around in the vase without damaging the beads. These also seem to be firmer / more durable than some beads I have used before (maybe I just got lucky). Some beads did come pre-damaged, but that has always been the case with purchasing crystal soil.

Use:
When opening these packages though, do be careful; they do make a mess if they fall on the floor, table, or anywhere not a container. Since they are so tiny and light they will bounce everywhere and make it difficult to recover. I suggest opening them inside a container. (Try to use something static free.)

Reusable:
Something I stumbled across when using these beads is that they are actually reusable. You can dry the beads, which turns them back into tiny pellets, and reuse them. It took about 2 weeks for a batch to dry up.
