Siberian tomato is one of the first varieties I start each year. They are a nice healthy plant and bear a lot of fruit once they start to mature fairly early in the year. The flavor is a robust very 'Italian' tasting, perfect for pasta sauces and twice as good alone for salads or sandwich. I grow mine in WA State and have never had any type of problem with these-plants stay healthy even deep into Fall,bears medium palm size growth w/no special gardening skill required-perfect for kids or beginning gardeners. Stake the main cane in pots to keep it upright, but you don't need a cage, though the pot should be 2 gallon or more for sure.
