First, product did arrive one day earlier than anticipated. Second, package was well wrapped with tape to hold in dirt, peanuts to lessen shifting, and even included a couple of lady bugs. I didn't quite understand this at first but when I looked it up I found out that lady bugs are a city farmer's friend (natural pesticide). The shallots themselves seem green and healthy, from the front. From the back, they seem a little brown and dried out. However, you can see that the shallots are growing already. I have placed them in a larger container and will update this feedback in the weeks to come. I am also uploading pictures of what I received so that fellow consumers will see what they can expect when ordering theirs.
