We tried Eight Ball squash for the first time this year and we'll be planting it again. It has been one of our favorite garden veggies this season.

We had a very good germination rate with David's Garden Seeds. The plants grew about the same size as our regular zucchini and yellow squash and didn't take over the beds like our Tatume squash.

We have really enjoyed eating the Eight Ball zucchini. They are tender and haven't been seedy or mealy, even when we let them get a little too big. It's fun to have a different shape of zucchini, too. These are perfect for making stuffed zucchini, chopping into cubes to cook, or shredding for zucchini bread or cake.

The plants have been prolific and bug resistant. It's July in Texas and we are still getting Eight ball zucchini from the plants. We planted in the spring originally, but are planting again for a fall harvest.
