I have four ambulant kids and a stoop with poor drainage, full sun, and lots of traffic. I planted four of these (which are native to my area in upstate New York), and despite standing water after storms, and being run over by bikes, scooters, and kids every day since then, they remain green. I have had them in the ground for about a month and I am amazed all four of them have remained alive with little care. The only thing I have done for them is had one of the kids water them on especially hot, dry days. If you need a plant for a full sun, high traffic area that can handle occassional wet feet, this is the one.
