Porcelain vine is a vigorous, woody, deciduous, tendril-climbing vine which is somewhat similar in habit to wild grape vines and will typically grow 15-25'. Features mostly 3-lobed, deep green leaves (to 5" long). Clusters (cymes) of non-showy, greenish flowers appear in the leaf axils in July. Flowers give way in fall to very showy clusters of rounded-to-oval, pale lilac-blue fruits (1/4" diameter) which mature to brighter and deeper shades of amethyst to porcelain blue. Tolerant of any exposure, Porcelain vine is a hardy species that can adapt to a variety of environmental conditions, growing especially well in moist soils exposed to full sunlight or partial shade. It is however drought-tolerant and adaptable to poor soils of varying pH. 10 Porcelain Berry Vine Seeds Ampelopsis brevipedunculata ~ VINING & ORNAMENTAL Review

depending on your zone, porcelian berry can become invasive and very detrimental to local wildlife. Even if you keep it contained, the birds will spread the seads and it will become like kudzu. If it can't survive on it's own in your climate - enjoy!
