Seed Savers Exchange 0360 Open-pollinated Carrot, St. Valery, 250 Seed Packet Review

This was my first year gardening and was kind of winging it. I directly sowed these in a large rectangular container at the begginging of June and just harvest them a couple days ago.

I swear every single seed germinated! I thinned these carrots out pretty close together because I wanted to maximize my container space and the carrots still came out a decent size. I'm sure if I wouldn't have let them kept growing past their 90 days they would have gotten larger. They are a great carrot and grow quickly even though they do take a while to mature but carrots, in general, take awhile to mature.

They have a great, almost, sweet flavor and are exceptionally crunchy and juicy. These guys are strong! You will need a good, sharp knife to cut them!

Since I container garden, I don't know if I will do these carrots again just because of the amount of time they take up a garden but they are definitely worth if I you don't mind waiting.
