After sundown the perfume of its one inch jasmine scented flowers are absolutely intoxicating. It flowers endlessly all summer into fall. The foliage itself of this plant is also very pleasing with 4-6" dark green leaves clustered at the base of the flower spikes. Aztec will grow to about 3 feet tall, which is much shorter than many Nicotiana varieties. Easy to grow, this is one of our favourite annuals and virtually maintenance free - no deadheading and seldom bothered by pests - all they need is water and sun.

5 Stars for the seeds and excellent shipping speed... Minus one for the misleading title :(.

Ok, so I bought these seeds because I love the smell of jasmine and the title said jasmine. The picture also looks like a jasmine variant, though I suppose I've never seen pink jasmine.

They're actually tobacco. This is unfortunate because I bought jasmine specifically because it's nontoxic to cats. It's technically my bad because I didn't read the fine print (the listing says "Nicotiana"... whoops...). However, I feel that anyone buying this plant should know this, especially if they have pets. If you're buying this plant and hoping it's nontoxic... it's not. Its leaves are apparently toxic to cats. You should also check the laws where you live to make sure you can actually grow tobacco...

However, I will say the seeds did sprout tremendously well. I was sure to keep them moist and warm and almost all of them sprouted! I will post a follow up once the plants mature. They will be staying away from the cats, though :(...
