I did not have good luck with these but it is likely my fault. I will try again next year and if I have success adjust.

After complete failure I found out that Cabbage must be planted in the cold. If you plant them late like I did they will not form a head but will shoot a stalk up 5 ft tall immediately and go to flower. It must be cold when they are planted and for some time after to slow the growth of this plant.

On the plus side the number of seeds provided is so generous you could start a farm with them, or in my case try again next year.

I live in Utah and planted in May. Next year I will try early March.
