Product Description

HOT PEPPERS: When Wilbur Scoville first devised a means to test the heat of peppers, his hottest entry then came in at 20,000 units. Habanero and Thai chilies can go as high as 60,000. Compare that to the sweet bell pepper at zero. When hot peppers are consumed, capsaicinoids bind with pain receptors in the mouth and throat that are responsible for sensing heat. Once activated by the capsaicinoids, these receptors send a message to the brain that the person has consumed something hot. The brain responds to the burning sensation by raising the heart rate, increasing perspiration and release of endorphins. Hot peppers should be eaten with caution!

Bishop Crown Chile Pepper 15 Seeds - Medium Hot - RARE Review

I received these seeds promptly. I had to wait to plant them due to an inordinately busy life, lol, but got them into a pot on June 28th and put them in my greenhouse. I planted five seeds. One sprouted last night. So far, so good IMO. I have noticed that peppers can take as long as a month to sprout here, so i consider two weeks for the first appearance to be a good sign. I just used Miracle Grow soil with Osmocote pellets.
I will update this review as things develop.

August 19th: Okay...three of the five i planted have sprouted and are getting much larger now. They are at that cusp point i've noticed with all the peppers I've grown so far, where they arent large, but are on the verge of a growth explosion. Typically, at this point, they tend to grow very quickly. I will update this as it happens.
