Initially I did not buy enough to treat my entire yard so I applied it to part of my yard and waited. Comparing the treated and untreated areas of my lawn after 2 months I would say the product works pretty well. It doesn't get rid of the same amount of thatch as a if you used a thatch rake, but it's a lot less effort. I'm happy enough with the result to have ordered more to treat the rest of my yard.
