Unlike the other review, all my "Empress of India" seeds took (they did take a bit longer to germinate, and I had to be sure the weather wasn't too hot or humid and the soil wasn't soggy), but unlike my packet illustration, mine are all a VERY deep red and not a bright, lively deep pink as indicated in the photos and packet. So if you are planning your garden and are sensitive to coloration of the plants you are putting in, be warned that these are red nasturtiums.
