They come in little pots wrapped in baggies to keep them moist which is a good idea and seems to work - Trees were in great shape. They have been in the ground a little over a week and seem to be doing ok, will see in time if they live and if so, how they grow up.

One Warning: This is not a problem as long as you are aware of it (and I was not, nor was it mentioned in the instruction sheet that came with the trees). The trees I got were totally root bound and if you check the research, planting them with that solid root mass and more importantly, the circling roots will end up stunting the plants growth and ultimately killing the plant.

Solution: You have to break up the root bound mass - there are plenty of step-by-steps online, but do a little cutting, unwind the roots, spread them out, and plant (I stumbled across this fact after planting and had to pop the plants out (all 50 of them) and do this. Good Thing I did, as the pot shaped root ball was solid and intact on all of them a week after planting.
