King of the Blacks Carnation 50 Seed-Dianthus-Perennial Review
I ordered these seeds. They showed up quickly. They germinated and grew green leaves last year. This year the plant bloomed but the flowers don't look anything like the picture. Of course I knew they wouldn't actually be black so I wasn't surprised that they are actually dark burgundy. I was surprised that they look nothing like carnations (which the picture suggests the flowers should). At first I even thought I might have the wrong seeds so I searched other web sites to see what the flowers should look like and I'm pretty sure I did get the correct seeds. These flowers look like Sweet Williams. Because the flower doesn't look like the picture shown I give this 3 stars. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "King of the Blacks Carnation 50 Seed-Dianthus-Perennial" are high quality item.
