I bought this and planted it in an area that I have been trying to grow grass for the last 6 years. I have dogs and everyone says that you cannot grow grass if the dogs run on it all the time. Well they are wrong. I wet the ground down, raked the wet dirt with my hard tong rake and then planted the grass seeds. I did put it on heavily but was unable to cover most of it up considering I had to wet it down to be able to rake it. Within 4 days, with watering twice daily I had grass and it is still growing and we are in a drought. I intend to buy more in the future for some bald places in my yard. I have seen no weeds in the grass yet
