When I received this order I was shocked to find the hydroton loose in a postoffice mailer bag, and the quantity was little more than enough to fill one orchid pot. 2 pounds sounded like a lot but it isn't. I then looked at other Amazon offers and found another for 11 pounds of hydroton for $22.67 or $2.06 per pound compared to this one of $11.74 for 2 pounds or $5.87 per pound -- that is almost triple the price. The product is the same but the price is not even comparable. PS Since my review was published they even raised the price to $12.99 making it more than triple and even worse.
